Black
Power Double

I took the 2 deer Sun, Nov 4th in the a.m. I had a doe come by just before 7:00 a.m. She came 10 yards from my ground blind. She was by herself and she looked back towards the way she came in and I figured a buck may be trailing her. She walked off. About 10 minutes later I seen the 7 point drop tine buck
coming. This is the same buck I let go by me during the bow season and
video taped on another piece of property nearby (he has no brow tines and my husband Mike and I are selective on what we shoot).
After thinking about how unusual a drop tine buck is, Mike and I decided that if I had the opportunity again I should take him, so when he got about 20 yards I shot. I seen him go about 30 yards and flip over. I called Mike and told him I got my drop tine buck. He said "Good, you should reload and wait a while seeing how with the "All Outdoors Package" you have 2 more buck tags". So I did and about an hour later I seen a buck coming from my left side heading in where the doe had walked off towards the front of me. He was a bigger racked deer and he stopped to lick a branch about 50 yards away. I had no shot at him because of the briers and brush in the way. He continued to work his way where the doe went and also where the 7 point was laying. I used the Primos Bleat Can to try to get him to stop in an opening, but he came to a
halt behind some briers instead.
I
had the barrel of my Omega Muzzleloader resting on the zippered
window opening of my blind and it slipped a little. He heard it and
took three big bounds back the way he came, but I stopped him with
another bleat, this time in a good enough open area about 60 yards.
When I shot he took off, and it was then that I seen a second buck
to the left of him also take off running. I seen him go down not too
far off. I called Mike again and he said "What are you having a
party over there?" I said "Yeah, I just shot another buck, a bigger
one".
