R.I. -- April 14, 2006 -- Published author and outdoor writer Steven
Rinella has teamed up with local hunting web site RIHunts.com to share
his hunting, fishing, and outdoor travel writing. Steven’s humorous,
informative and adventure-packed publications can be found in the
Hunting / General Interest Section of the web site.
Steven grew up in
Twin Lake, Michigan, and migrated out West after graduating from Grand
Valley State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He fishes all over
the country and has hunted for most of North America's big game
animals. The author of the Scavenger’s Guide to Haute Cuisine,
his writing have appeared in many publications, including Outside,
Field and Stream, Nerve, Bowhunter,
FlyFisherman, DoubleTake, American Heritage,
Playboy Germany, and the annual Houghton Mifflin anthology, The
Best American Travel Writing. The closest thing he has to a
permanent residence is the basement of his older brother’s house, in

2004 the site saw 36,000 visitors, 2005 78,000 visits were logged to
the site and over 1,000,000 pages were displayed. In 2006 can we can
only hope to double 2005’s numbers. With an aggressive TV and radio
advertising campaign planned for 2006, this should come to fruition.
